STUD CONTRACT FOR:
Canadian Champion Genesis’s Chance At An Angel

 

UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE UNDERSIGNED PARTIES OR AN AGENT APPOINTED BY THE SAME.

AND________________________________OWNER(s) OF THE BITCH AGREE AS FOLLOWS:

1. THAT A STUD SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED BY ONE OF THE AFOREMENTIONED DOGS TO:____________________________________________REG#_______________________DOB_________

2. THAT SAID STUD DOG WILL BE CURRENT ON ALL NECESSARY CLEARANCES, IE; HIPS, EYES, AND CHECKED FOR ANY HEART ABNORMALITIES.

3. THAT PRIOR TO BREEDING OF ANY KIND ALL CLEARANCES OF THE SAME WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE  STUD DOG OWNER INCLUDING BRUCELLOSIS.

4. IF REQUESTED, THE STUD DOG OWNER WILL BOARD BITCH TO BE BRED DURING THE TIME OF THE MATING, AND EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO PROVIDE FOR A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE STAY, HOWEVER THE STUD DOG OWNER AND OR AGENT WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES, ILLNESS, OR LOSS DURING THE PERIOD THE BITCH IS IN THEIR CONTROL AND ANY BOARDING TIME AFTER BITCH IS READY FOR SHIPMENT BACK TO OWNER WILL BE CHARGED AT $10.00 DOLLARS PER DAY.

5. ANY VETERINARY EXPENSES WILL BE COVERED BY THE OWNERS OF THE BITCH, IE: PROGESTORONE TESTING, SMEARS, ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATIONS, HEALTH CERTIFICATES, OR ANY OTHER COSTS ARISING OUT OF THIS BREEDING.

6. THE BITCH WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF A MINIMUM OF TWO NATURAL BREEDINGS; ANY AI’S WILL BE DISCUSSED PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING.

7. THIS BREEDING IS GUARANTEED FOR LIVE PUPPIES, LIVE PUPPIES IS CONSTITUTED BY 2 OR MORE LIVING PUPPIES AT THE AGE OF FOUR DAYS, THERE WILL BE NO RETURN OF THE INITIAL DEPOSIT IF THERE ARE NO LIVE PUPPIES OR A PREGNANCY, HOWEVER THE BITCH MAY BE SENT ON HER NEXT SEASON FOR A REPEAT BREEDING, AFTER LIVE PUPPIES HAVE BEEN WHELPED THE REMAINDER OF THE STUD FEE IS IMMEDIATELY DUE.

 

8. THE STUD FEE WILL BE __________$700.00________________ WITH A DEPOSIT OF______$350.00______ TO BE PAID PRIOR TO ANY BREEDING.

 

The Bitch:

1. The bitch must be clear in hips, elbows, heart and eyes, with copies of clearances & pedigree as well as a head photo and side photo provided to Stud owner.
2. The bitch must have a vaginal swab work up showing no growth and a negative Brucella Canis test preformed, no earlier than two months before the breeding.  If this is not possible, the breeding will be done by Artificial Insemination.
3. The litter breeder agrees to find a suitable home for all the puppies, if this is not possible agrees to keep them until such homes can be found.  The litter breeder requires the return of the puppy to them to be resold to a suitable home.
4. Owner of Bitch agrees to sell all puppies on a limited registration (except for the competition homes.)
5. Owner of bitch agrees to never sell puppies to any puppy mill, pet shops or for experimentation purposes
