First & foremost all DoubleTake Golden puppies are sold as family companions. This puppy is not sold as breeding stock but as a pet.
- Therefore he/she is sold with limited registration and must be neutered or spayed by the time he/she is 11 months of age. I as the breeder do require a written statement by the Veterinarian who performs the neuter/spay. AKC registration Papers will be furnished after verification has been received by seller that the above mentioned puppy has been surgically altered. * verification must be from a certified veterinarian written on his/her own letterhead.
This said Puppy is the result of a selective mating of parents who are of excellent health, sound temperament and are outstanding representatives of the AKC Standard for Goldens. This puppy is being sold as a healthy, happy puppy of correct temperament that with the proper training and socialization should develop into a wonderful representation of the breed!
- By signing this contract, the buyer agrees to provide good and responsible care by providing adequate training, attention, exercise, nutrition, shelter, grooming and veterinary care to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of this
- Puppy/dog. The buyer agrees not to expose this puppy to dogs whose vaccination history is unknown, nor to areas they may frequent until this puppy has completed its vaccination and booster series.
- The buyer agrees to attend and complete at least one Puppy Training Class and one follow up Dog Obedience Class.
Both the puppy’s sire and dam have been checked and cleared of elbow and hip dysplasia. They have also been cleared of hereditary eye and heart defects as well as thyroid.
Guarantee
The first 72 hours: DoubleTake Goldens guarantees your puppy to be in excellent health when you receive him/her. All DoubleTake Golden puppies have had a through examination and first vaccinations by our Veterinarian Dr Gerald Lewis (Pend Oreille Veterinarian Service) (208)-263-2145 on ___of____2006. However we encourage you to take your new puppy to your own veterinarian within the first seventy-two hours after purchase (including weekends) and have him/her examined for your satisfaction.
- The purchaser agrees to take this Puppy to a licensed veterinarian of his choice within 72 hours (excluding weekends) of delivery to purchaser, for a physical examination to confirm the health of the Puppy. Should the Puppy be determined to be in ill health from a cause clearly attributable to the seller, the Puppy may be returned upon a written diagnosis from said veterinarian, for a full refund of the purchased price or for another Puppy of equal value?
- The choice will be determined by the seller.
- Any veterinarian's diagnosis shall be subject to confirmation by a veterinarian chosen and paid for by the seller. Should said veterinarian not concur with the diagnosis, the matter shall be presented to a third veterinarian, mutually agreed upon by the seller and the purchaser.
- If anything is found wrong with the puppy the buyer may return the puppy (within the Seventy-two hours of purchase) for a full refund of the purchase price. It must be accompanied with a letter from your veterinarian stating the nature of the puppy’s problem.
All expenses incurred by the owner with regard to the new puppy are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. This includes, but is not limited to veterinary, medical, shipping and traveling expenses.
Should the buyer at anytime, be unable to keep the puppy/dog in question, the seller(Danielle Yandt) is to have first choice of taking the puppy/dog back into her ownership, for the price of one (1) dollar and the puppy/dog is to be accompanied by it’s appropriate registration. This Puppy/Dog is not to ever be sold or given to a pet store or be in any way associated with any animal experimentation.
All DoubleTake Goldens are required to have the DoubleTake Prefix on the AKC registration as well as follow theme of said litter ie: “Starbuck Coffee”. Hence before the chosen name for this puppy the DoubleTake title is already placed on registration papers….
